Short course - Imaging and vision:
from the fundamentals to practical applications

Following his talk on “Computer vision for the analysis and processing of street scenes”, visiting scholar Dr Marco Buzzelli will deliver a two session short course entitled “Imaging and vision: from the fundamentals to practical applications”. This course is offered in the context of the Master of Science in Geospatial Technologies but is open to the NOVA IMS community.

The course will cover topics of semantic segmentation, depth estimation and rain removal as well as imaging processing fundamentals, color and multispectral imaging, neural networks fundamentals and object detection using neural networks.

The course will take place on Monday September 26 and October 3 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
