Biografia

Nuno António tem um doutoramento em Ciências e Tecnologia de Informação pelo ISCTE-IUL, mestrado em administração e gestão hoteleira pela Escola de Administração, Hotelaria e Turismo da Universidade do Algarve e é licenciado em engenharia de software pelo ISMAT. Os seus interesses de investigação estão relacionados com a aplicação de Machine Learning, Text Mining, Data Mining e Big Data em hotelaria e turismo, retalho, saúde e outros domínios. O seu trabalho foi publicado em importantes revistas científicas e conferências, incluindo o International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, Journal of Travel Research, Information Technology & Tourism, Data Science Journal, IEEE ICMLA, entre outros. Nuno António é diretor de tecnologia da Itbase/WareGuest, uma empresa especializada no desenvolvimento de software e sistemas de suporte a decisão para hotelaria e retalho. Para além disso, é professor assistente convidado de Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Mining e Social Media Analytics na Nova IMS. Nuno é certificado em Business Intelligence, especialização de Business Analytics pela TDWI - The Data-Warehousing Institute. É certificado como ScrumMaster e membro da Scrum Alliance e é também certificado como gestor de projetos associado pela IPMA - International Project Management Association.
