Biografia

Bruno Damásio é Doutorado em Matemática Aplicada (2019) pela Universidade de Lisboa, onde concluiu também o Master’s em Econometria e a Licenciatura em Economia. A sua investigação centra-se em econometria, séries temporais, inferência causal e data science, abrangendo ainda temas como avaliação de políticas públicas, cienciometria e economia aplicada. Tem trabalhos publicados em revistas científicas de referência, entre as quais Resources Policy, Telecommunications Policy, Research Evaluation, Quantitative Science Studies, The R Journal, Habitat International e EPJ Data Science. Com uma década de experiência de ensino, é atualmente docente de estatística e econometria na NOVA IMS. Paralelamente, desenvolve atividade como consultor e formador em estatística para diversas entidades públicas e privadas, incluindo a OCDE, a Comissão Europeia, o Tribunal de Contas Europeu, bem como vários ministérios, institutos nacionais de estatística, reguladores e bancos centrais em oito países.
