CNMC - São Tomé and Príncipe (STP)

The National Committee for Climate Change (CNMC) of São Tomé and Príncipe is a national body for coordination, training, awareness-raising, and facilitation in the design, financing, implementation, validation, and monitoring of various activities (programs and projects) to be developed in the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and its additional legal instruments in STP.

CNMC is also responsible for ensuring coherence between programs/projects and national priorities regarding Climate Change at the adaptation and mitigation levels. In this regard, and with financial support from the EU (AMCC Project), a monitoring dashboard for external aid to STP was developed to achieve the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) at the Climate Change level.
