Growth Innovation in Marketing

The Growth Innovation in Marketing course follows the latest global innovation trends, drawing inspiration from consultancy projects and various bootcamps developed with prominent companies such as Google, McDonalds, Farfetch, Zomato, Danone, EDP, L'Oreal, Cuf, among others. With guest speakers from companies like Outsystems, Nestlé, PlotContent, and VisionBox.

The course is developed by the directors of the NOVA Marketing Analytics Lab and the NOVA Innovation Lab, providing valuable insights from real-world applications in both local and global companies.

Objectives

  • Develop a deeper understanding and practice of key topics related to innovation strategy, growth, and design thinking for innovation;
  • Provide a practical approach using a variety of challenges in which participants can create their own learning journey;
  • Develop an applied innovation and growth strategy and plan for a real company/organization.

General Information

The course takes place at NOVA IMS, on September 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2024, at the Campolide Campus of NOVA University Lisbon. The training has a total of 24 hours.

Registrations

Registrations for this course are made through the NOVA IMS Application Portal.

Course Fee

The fee for this course is €1,450. Included are: coffee breaks, lunches, parking access, and the issuance of a Participation Certificate.

Payment for the course fee can be made in installments: 40% upon confirmation of registration and 60% up to 2 weeks before the start of the course.

Language

This course will be taught in Portuguese.

Module 1: Innovation in Marketing (12h)

Overall Objective: To empower participants to understand and apply innovation strategies in the context of marketing, using tools such as design thinking, behavioral insights, business model innovation, prototyping, and innovation management.

  • Define design thinking as an innovation strategy;
  • Identify behavioral insights for innovation;
  • Business model innovation;
  • Prototyping and innovation management.

Module 2: Growth Strategies in Marketing (12h)

Overall Objective: To enable participants to develop and implement innovative growth strategies in the marketing context, using tools such as the Strategy Innovation Canvas, competitive analysis, blue ocean strategy, E² Design, customer value proposition creation, and growth and innovation strategy planning.

  • Strategy Innovation Canvas;
  • Competitive analysis and blue ocean strategy definition;
