Information Design
Applied to Data Science

The growth in the volume of data, along with the need to create value for organizations, has made information design a vital area of knowledge for the clear visualization of the process of transforming data into value, of its meaning and the added value in Data Science processes.

Bringing together a range of experts from multiple fields - arts, communication design and data science - the NOVA IMS Executive Program contains the multidisciplinarity essential to make sense of data through visualization in a precise, clear, engaging and aesthetically appealing way.

The executive program enables participants to:

  • Understand and apply the basic concepts of communication and information design;

  • Understand the different phases of an Information Design project;

  • Apply visual storytelling methods to achieve maximum impact and value;

  • Understand the techniques of using video in visualization;

  • Execute a practical project;

  • Share and discuss the main trends and analysis of case studies with national and international experts.
